This time of year through fall is when I love being in New Hampshire and doing some local travel! Even though I’ve been here my whole life, I never had the confidence to hike one of the forty-eight 4,000+ foot mountains, until now! It was definitely a challenge as I’m more of a leisurely hiker, but the views were worth it! 🏔️ Alright Puerto Rico, I’m in love! 😍 Had a great first trip on the island for the Women in Travel Summit (WITS) hosted by @sheswanderful and I will definitely be back again to explore! 🇵🇷 The trip was the perfect blend of cultural experiences, exploring San Juan, and connecting with other travel enthusiastic women. And I left both WITS and Puerto Rico feeling more inspired to get back into my creative roots again! 💗 Had a great time going on my first ever scuba dive! 🤿 I’ve been very interested in trying out scuba and getting my open water certification for the last 4 years now. But due to COVID and my overall fears, I’ve been pushing off that adventure until recently! I’m so happy my first dive was in beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 I really appreciate the patience from @tryscubadivingpr as I got used to breathing in the water and making my first experience memorable! When visiting the island of Puerto Rico, you have to explore El Yunque national park, the United States’ only tropical rainforest in the country. I could have swam in that river all day 🇵🇷 📍Arizona photo dump! 📸 I can’t believe it’s already been a week since I left Guatemala. 🇬🇹 This country will always hold a special place in my heart. It was my first country I temporarily lived in beyond the US, as well as a place where I met incredible new friends, had some amazing experiences, and began my journey to heal some emotional wounds. I can’t wait to go back to this country someday! 💜 Even though it’s only a few months into 2023, I’ve been so grateful to have traveled to so many places so far. I’ve met so many incredible people and made some amazing travel friends along the way. As a “social introvert” I enjoy spending time with people, but I can be a little shy and have a hard time putting myself out there. I appreciate everyone who has welcomed me into their life, whether briefly or for a lifetime. I love all of the adventures we’ve shared that I’ll treasure forever! ✈️ 💜 Living my best life in Belize 🇧🇿 💜 A well needed break from work before I head back to the US! 🏝️ I can’t believe my time in Antigua is already coming to an end. This was my first time being a “digital nomad” in another country. It’s been interesting to submerse myself in another culture while continuing my work day-to-day life of hopping on Zoom calls and grabbing groceries. I will never give up striving for that balance of having a home base (with my husband and pets) while having these opportunities to continue to see the world and meet new people without giving up my day job (for now). I’m going to miss you Guatemala!
