If you’re curious to see the places I’ve been and adventures I’ve participated in, look no further! I’ve created a timeline that sums up my memorable experiences.
A Timeline of My Adventures:
May 2012 and May 2013– My first international adventure abroad on my service trip to Nicaragua! I participated again for a second year, right after I graduated college, in 2013: Highlights from Nicaragua
March 2015– I went on a 9 day, all-inclusive adventure to China, visiting Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Shanghai: What No One Tells You About The Great Wall
September 2015– For my 25th birthday, I decided what better way to celebrate than to jump out of am airplane? I went Skydiving for the first time with Skydive New England, in Southern Maine.
October 2015– Shortly after my skydiving adventure, I wanted to keep the adrenaline rush going. My partner, Sean and I went zip-lining in the White Mountains of NH, during the fall foliage season!
February 2016– Even though where I grew up was only about a two hour drive to Canada, I never crossed the border until 2016, for a long weekend to experience Montreal en Lumiere. This lights festival is a fun way to enjoy the winter season, with food trucks, lights, and entertainment. Sean and I went for a long weekend to explore the festival as well as the city: 48 Hours in Montreal
May 2016– Sean and I partnered with another couple (whom also accompanied me for my China adventure) to do an 8 day road trip throughout Iceland. We booked our accommodation and car rental through the travel agency Nordika Travel that allowed us to create our own itinerary between hotel locations along the Ring Road: From the Ring Road With Love: A Road Trip Through Iceland
December/January 2017– Sean and I decided to ring in the New Year with a road trip up to Quebec City: 72 Hours in Quebec City
June 2017– Sean and I were very excited to visit Montreal for a second time during the warmer months.
September 2017– I booked my first Living Social/Groupon Travel with Kaypi Peru Tours, which was also my very first solo travel experience: My First Solo Trip Abroad! (And Why Everyone Should Try At Least Once)
October 2017-Sean and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary in NYC (where he proposed to me in Times Square!).
November 2017– After 17 years, my family had a lovely reunion in Orange County, California for a long weekend in San Clemente and Dana Point.
May 2018– En route to Oceania, I spent a weekend wandering the streets of San Francisco solo.
May 2018– I booked my second Groupon Travel with Down Under Answers to New Zealand and Australia for two weeks solo. Some of my adventures included the Sky Walk on the Auckland Tower and snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef.
