Greetings fellow readers!
It’s been way too long since my last blog post (four months to be precise), something I am not proud of! While I haven’t done nearly enough blogging as I would like to since starting the blog, going MIA for this long is just not acceptable!
Unfortunately, my last two semesters of graduate school (on top of working full-time) have taken priority over all the things I love. Now that I only have a month left until completing my degree (not that I’m counting or anything!), I look forward to devoting more of my time to this blog, as well as enjoying some of my upcoming travel plans as a post-graduate! Here are some of my future planned trips I can’t wait to explore:
Peru (End of August/September)

With the exception of Canada, I have not traveled to another country this year and am having a major case of the travel bug. This spring, I spontaneously booked a 10 day solo trip to Peru for this coming September, as both a graduation and birthday vacation to myself. Top destinations on my itinerary include Machu Picchu, Lima, Uros Island, Cusco and the Sacred Valley.

This will be my very first solo trip EVER! While I’m a little nervous to fly alone, I will be joining fellow travelers while in Peru for various tours, thanks to Kaypi Peru Tours.
NYC (Mid-October)

I still can’t believe that I haven’t explored this wonderful city, having lived relatively close to it my entire life (and no, being in JFK airport does not count as a visit for me!). My significant other and I will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary in October and have decided to celebrate this milestone in the Big Apple!

My top destinations and activities include visiting the Statue of Liberty, seeing a Broadway play, exploring Times Square and Central Park, visiting the Empire State building, paying respect to the September 11 Memorial, and checking out the city’s nightlife. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to comment or message me!
Florida & Harry Potter World! (most likely between January and March)

I’m not going to lie, the main reason I want to visit Florida is simply because of Harry Potter World. Florida seems to be the top vacation destination for many New Englanders that I know, yet I haven’t explored the state outside of the Miami airport. A few of my girlfriends and I are hoping to spend a long weekend in the sunshine state and plan to spend a night and day in Miami as well!

Stay tuned to hear more about my future endeavors!
