From the Ring Road With Love: A Road Trip Through Iceland
Well it’s been a while since I’ve been on an overseas trip (14 months, but who’s counting?), but I’m happy to announce that I made my travel plans come true for this year and recently embarked on my road trip throughout the land of fire and ice! Iceland has definitely become a more popular travel destination in recent years and having driven throughout the country, I can most certainly see why! Everything from the diverse landscapes to the food and Nordic culture has had me already planning out my next trip over there! Here are some highlights in photos of our 8 day road trip along the ring road!
Day 1: Reykjavík to the Borgarfjörður Region
With nearly two-thirds of the population living throughout and outside of the capital, Reykjavík is a lovely little city worth spending the time to explore. We were able to see famous sites, such as the sun voyager and the Hallgrímskirkja Church within a close distance.
